DNA And RFID Partnership: Advanced ID Corporation And Manakoa Security Inc. Announce A Joint Marketing And Technology Integration Agreement On DNA And RFID
Advanced ID Corporation (OTCBB: AIDO), a radio frequency identification (RFID) technology provider, has announced a technology and sales partnership with Manakoa Services Corporation, a security technology company with anti-counterfeiting DNA, optical marker technology and tag and trace products for the global security marketplace. The companies have embarked on a unique joint technology undertaking to cross-market their respective technologies to provide a fully integrated product authentication and supply chain integrity system starting with DNA's forensic authentication of individual products in primary packaging labels, papers and inks, linked to advanced RFID on packaging and cartons in the global supply chain.
Advanced ID markets low frequency (LF) RFID microchips, scanners, and its pet identification database as well as ultra high frequency (UHF) DataTRAC™ and TireTRAC tags, readers, and trace back management solutions. The target markets are pharmaceuticals, beauty products, automotive and tires, fine art and collectibles, biosecurity, food safety and shipping applications.
While there are many RFID firms in the marketplace, this is the first marriage of molecular biology at the fundamental DNA level, coupled to radio frequency identification of products in the supply chain.
